Introduction:At DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) in Chicago, students can pursue a future in digital cinema and embark on the exciting world of filmmaking. Cinema is a hybrid of visual storytelling and technology. In the past 20 years, digital technology has revolutionized the way motion pictures are produced, viewed and distributed. As a student of the Digital Cinema Program, you'll learn the fundamentals of cinema production and theory. You'll receive hands-on experience with the latest production equipment as soon as your first year, and you'll get an insider's view of the industry from our full-time faculty.
Programs:
Location:The Digital Cinema Program is offered at DePaul's two Chicago campuses at Lincoln Park and the Loop. Admission:DePaul University admission advisors are available to work individually with students to ensure the admission process goes as smoothly as possible. Graduate applicants can participate in accelerated admission events and apply, receive a decision, meet the faculty, and register for classes in a single evening. Financial Aid:DePaul participates in federal and state aid programs. Financial aid offices are located on each campus with advisors available to talk to students about their financial aid options. Other Highlights:Digital cinema students can reserve and check out film equipment. They also have access to a number of labs that offer the latest in hardware, software, and other digital cinema technology.
