At Madison Media Institute in Madison, Wisconsin, students are prepared for entry level careers in media design and production and video and motion graphics. Working alongside experienced media professionals, students learn hands-on and work with the latest industry hardware and software. Each associate's degree program offers specific training designed to prepare students for their burgeoning careers and includes both technical and business applications.
Programs:
- Digital Media Design and Production — Occupational Associate of Arts
In this program, students work with programs such as Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign to master the design principles of color, typography, and layout.
- Recording and Music Technology — Occupational Associate of Arts
Students learn to record, mix, and produce music and sound using digital recorders, mixers, synthesizers, computer software, samplers and other equipment. Students also study studio, music, and business concepts and fundamentals.
- Video and Motion Graphics — Occupational Associate of Arts
In the video and motion graphics program, students work with programs that include DVD Studio Pro, Final Cut Pro, Dreamweaver, and LightWave, as well as with hardware such as digital video cameras, scanners, and light kits.
